The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is a privacy law enacted by the European Union (EU). It affects businesses around the world from 25 May 2018. This regulation defines how an organisation processes or uses the personal data of EU citizens, including organisations outside the EU.
Personal data is data that, used alone or in combination with other data, allows the identification of an individual.
The proper handling of your personal data is an important issue for Butterfly&CO SPRL. We aim to process your personal data in accordance with the law and in a legal, fair and transparent manner.
Are you a customer, prospect, supplier or subcontractor of Butterfly&CO SPRL?
In general, we record the following data:

- company/organisation
- business address (street, number, postcode, town and country)
- telephone number (landline and/or mobile)
- e-mail address
- website URL
- VAT number
- type of services or goods ordered
- dates and amounts of transactions
This information is stored in a database located on a secure internal server of Butterfly&CO SPRL protected by a firewall as well as in a database related to the use of ODOO, the online quotation and invoicing software, and in the accounting software Popsy.
The personal data you provide will only be used by Butterfly&CO SPRL to:
- share information during projects
- keep administrative records to manage our working relationship properly (quotations, invoicing, administrative letters, replies to your various requests)
- send our newsletters (information on our activities, invitations to our events, promotions and news, end-of-year greetings and competitions specific to Butterfly&CO SPRL)
Under no circumstances will this data be passed on to, or shared with, third parties without your prior consent, other than as necessary to perform our duties.
You have the right to access and have your data corrected or deleted by sending an e-mail to info@butterflyandco.eu. Using the same address, you can always object to the use of your data for marketing purposes or cancel your subscription to our newsletters.
Your personal data will be stored by Butterfly&CO SPRL without any time limit, as long as our working relationship requires us to keep in touch. In case of termination of our working relationship, you are free to expressly request that your personal data be deleted. Please note, however, that in certain cases a legal time limit must be observed, taking into account the guidelines imposed by the tax authorities, for example.
